GIVEN MOMENTS
I sit reflecting times gone by On all the great things I have done,
On all the wonders that I've seen, And try to weigh them one by one. I heard my babies cry their first.
I saw a thousand geese in flight. I've lived and loved both soft and hard, And sang to moonbeams in the night. Every
single given moment Of lifetime pathways my feet trod, Were glimmers in the space of time, Precious gifts from
a loving God. I greeted tides of raging surf, And laid on beaches twilight sand, Soft-spoken words embraced
my heart I've even felt a gentle hand. How can I measure which is best, Since each one marked a life's
event, Uniquely different than the rest… …Every single given moment…
